  • Photo Calendar 2009 – New Zealand

Posted in photo calendar on December 30th, 2008

This photo calendar for the year 2009 was created with photos I have taken during my fantastic New Zealand trip in november 2008.

It is designed to use as a background picture for your desktop. There is enough space for your icons around the photo with the monthly calendar. You can choose between two different styles: charcoal/cyan and charcoal/orange.

Both styles of this New Zealand photo calendar are available for download in different sizes. If your current desktop resolution is not listed as a download link you can download the next higher resolution with the aspect ratio you are using. For optimum results in viewing the photo calendar you can:

    • adjust the colour depth to the maximum and
    • set the background colour of your desktop to red=37, green=37 and blue=37.

    download photo calendar (charcoal/cyan):

    cyan style
    • aspect ratio 4:3
      • 1600 x 1200 (7.4 MB)
      • 1024 x 768 (3.3 MB)
    • aspect ratio 5:4
      • 1280 x 1024 (5 MB)
    • aspect ratio 16:10
      • 1920 x 1200 (7.4 MB)
      • 1440 x 900 (4.4 MB)

    download photo calendar (charcoal/orange):

    orange style
    • aspect ratio 4:3
      • 1600 x 1200 (7.4 MB)
      • 1024 x 768 (3.4 MB)
    • aspect ratio 5:4
      • 1280 x 1024 (5 MB)
    • aspect ratio 16:10
      • 1920 x 1200 (7.5 MB)
      • 1440 x 900 (4.5 MB)

Below you can see the preview of the photos of New Zealand used for the photo calendar.

Alexa presents: ON ICE BERLIN – world exposition of ice sculptures

    Terracotta Soldiers

As of 2008-02-02 Berlin has a new great attraction: ON ICE BERLIN. 50 international artists have created over 30 ice sculptures. They have worked on them for 2 weeks and used over 500 tons of ice and snow. As a result these artists have build up their own fascinating icy world with historical sculptures from all over the world. The exposition is located in a special thermo hall beside the place Alexanderplatz with an surface area of 1.000 sqm. To save the sculptures the inside of the hall is permanently cooled down to 8 degrees below zero. It is really impressive and will be worthwhile to visit. Because of the cold temperatures you should not forget to wear warm clothes. ;-)

During the impressive tour across the sparkling world you can see e.g. the Great Wall of China, Terracotta Soldiers, Taj Mahal, Petra (archaeological site), Christ de Redeemer from Rio de Janeiro, pyramids of Gizeh, the Coloseum, Brandenburg Gate and many more…

You can visit ON ICE BERLIN from 2008-02-02 until 2008-04-06. The exposition has opened its doors between 10 am and 10 pm daily. The entrance is directly beside the main entry of ALEXA at street Grunerstrasse.

Whats new for JeKoPhoto in 2008?

    1. For my non german speaking members and visitors I have created this new website under the domain jekophoto.eu with an enhanced design.
    2. To be more scalable my site is now divided into 3 main sections.
    3. I have added a news section. Here you will find news about my photographic work, some interesting events and this page. A guestbook is also included.
    4. The gallery henceforth has new features and works with improved performance.

    Cheers,

    Jens
